Festival sponsorships are designed to provide maximum return for your investment dollars.  All sponsorship levels offer the opportunity to have on-site booth visibility. Our attendance is in excess of 80,000, the demographics of our spectators are excellent, and our event reputation is outstanding. With a strong influence on family participation and entertainment, we draw family units with above average income.

Demographics:  The spectators that attend the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival are primarily residents of Plano and the surrounding communities.  This is a family event with parents and their children attending as a unit.  We cater to kid’s activities, local nonprofit organizations, and family entertainment.

Please remember, the actual cash amount of your marketing sponsorship determines the value of the sponsorship.  While we welcome and sometimes solicit the donations of goods or services (in-kind dollars), our operating expenses are extensive and are defrayed by corporate contributions.  Upon approval of the Festival Committee, in-kind items, may be used to upgrade your sponsor level.

2008 Marketing Sponsor Form

NON-PROFIT

The Plano Balloon Festival, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a 501c3 status.  Our agency is governed by a working Board of Directors that employs two staff members.  Each year the operating budget of the Plano Balloon Festival, Inc. is developed from individual contributions of corporate sponsors, and revenue generated on site.  This large community event relies on over 1,900 volunteers that participate during the three days of the Festival.  We have corporate groups and individuals that donate their time for this community event. Our corporate groups for 2007 included EDS Credit Union, JC Penney, and the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

One of the main objectives of the Festival is to provide low cost booth space to local non-profit agencies.  In 2007 we had 41 non-profit agencies that participated at the Festival either as food concessionaires, service providers, or to create awareness for their agency.

2008 Marketing Sponsor Form

The Plano Balloon Festival Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 agency that is dedicated to producing a family oriented, high quality event that offers other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival. Our objective is to offer the participating non-profit agencies an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their programs and services…thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us.
