THE LIFE BLOOD OF THE FESTIVAL…
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Critical to the success of this annual event is the participation by local area non-profits and volunteers. The EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival’s commitment to the community is manifested in our partnerships with these local area non-profits. This year, 41 organizations and corporations were showcased at our Festival. Because of our longstanding commitment to non-profits, over 2 million dollars has circulated back into our community over the 28 year history of the Event.
Agencies consider the opportunity to participate in the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival a means of generating revenue and creating awareness about their programs and services. The festival benefits and the agencies benefit—a win, win for everyone involved. Below you will find a breakdown of revenue generated by our nineteen non-profit service providers and food concessionaires. The remaining twenty-two participating non-profit organizations and corporations were onsite to generate awareness about their programs and services and to provide volunteer support.
