FESTIVAL PREVIEW & PHOTOGRAPHER BADGE DRAWING

Central Market Plano Balloon Festival Hot Air Balloon

The InTouch Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival is going to inflate a hot air balloon in the parking lot at Central Market in Plano on Monday, August 19 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  We’re going to be giving away free general admission tickets to the festival so come by and see us!

If you’re really into food then you might get hypnotized by Hatch during Hatchsteria happening August 7-20! Central Market is featuring over 200 specialty Hatch-infused goodness around every corner within the store.

This fun festival preview is also when the Photographer Badge Drawing takes place and 20 randomly selected winners will receive a 3-day weekend badge and parking pass valid September 20-22, 2019.  This year we’re celebrating 40 Years of Ballooning in Plano and we invite the public to bring one photo of a hot air balloon taken at the festival since 1980. The image should be no larger than 4×6 with a name, phone number, email, and mailing address written on the back. All images are tossed into a hopper and pulled one-by-one to announce on-site.

Can’t attend the festival preview but want to enter? Email your photo to Social@PlanoBalloonFest.org before 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17th and we’ll toss yours in with the others. The photo pass packages are going to be handed out to winners at the end of the drawing or mailed to the address provided on the back.

In the event of inclement weather, the drawing will take place inside the store located at 320 Coit Road in the Central Market Cafe.

Here is the video of the 2018 Plano Balloon Festival Photographer Badge Drawing for those who are curious about the event.  The 20 winners selected last year automatically receive a badge for 2019 and there is no need for those folks to submit another entry this drawing.

    But would love to win!!
Our family has almost made it a tradition to go for the past four-five years and we love it
We’ve got to see at Sunrise, sunset and during the day 🙂

    1. Yes, it should be a photo taken at the Plano Balloon Festival. Thank you!
